Anne, also known as Dr. Wallis, holds a BA from Mary Washington College and an MHS and PhD from Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. Anne is currently a professor of Epidemiology at University of Louisville. She frequently travels to Africa, India, and Eastern Europe where she conducts research focused on maternal and neonatal health and mortality rates.
