Maggie Alexander guided me through my academic journey with knowledge and understanding regarding the college application process. When I was first introduced to her, I was a sophomore in high school who was struggling with my scholastic goals and credits to graduate on time. Through a multitude of conversations with Maggie, she helped me choose the AP and honors classes that would help me when applying to top tier colleges and extracurricular activities that would assist me in standing out to admissions officers. Maggie was not only a driving force in my high school education, she also guided me throughout the entire college application process which ensured my acceptance to my number one school, University of Miami. The wealth of knowledge and experience that she has provided me insight into the application process. From deciding to apply early, to rewriting my personal and supplemental essays until they were perfect — Maggie was there through it all. As a rising junior at The U, I will be connecting with her again in regards to my upcoming law school applications.
Maggie Alexander was the driving force in helping my son navigate the challenging high school years of preparing for and selecting a college. Through a series of conversations and a review of some of his academic work, she learned his strengths and goals. Maggie evaluated his high school curricula and syllabi to track additional needs beyond my son’s school’s AP and Honors courses. She guided him into a top-quality ACT prep course. Finally, with a full set of transcripts and ACT scores, they worked together to identify top colleges that fell within all of his parameters – academic excellence, geographic location, and size. Now, my son has completed his first year of college at a top-notch liberal arts school where he received a very generous scholarship for academics and music. He has finished this year on the Dean’s List and has decided to major in History and Sociology/Anthropology with a minor in Music. This is the culmination of a three-year partnership – we could never have done this without Maggie!

I met Maggie Alexander pre-pandemic, when charting a student's path -- traditional or alternative - wasn't yet "a thing." My eldest son needed guidance as a traveling and nationally ranked athlete. At the time he was balancing traditional high school with three online platforms for high school to meet his academic and athletic goals. Maggie took a personal interest in him, as she does all of her students. She formatted his high school pathway into a rigorous and accredited high school, and with her mentoring -- he was accepted at 11 top colleges and waitlisted at two. She helped my son narrow down his acceptances to the school that truly fit his spirit, his needs and future goals. He has completed his freshman year and is so happy, that his younger brother -- also with Maggie's personalized attention -- will join him next year at the same school. Our daughter (a junior) is on a fast track to an NCAA athletic scholarship, and again with Maggie's guidance and expertise, she's been able to align her academic and athletic pursuits with an early commitment to a top NCAA team and top academic school with the best fit for everything she needs. The last four years working with Maggie give me faith in the college process, that there is a spot for every student -- it just takes someone who knows your child, knows the colleges and can guide them to the place where they will flourish, blossom and become the best version of themself. This is how we create a great future -- with happy, adjusted and educated young adults!

We first met Maggie Alexander during the height of covid, when our second daughter was in eighth grade. An avid equestrian, our daughter decided to take advantage of distance learning to remain in Wellington so that she could ride intensively. We co-enrolled her at Score Academy along with our daughter’s school back home solely because of Maggie: her supportiveness, thorough understanding of the equestrian world, and extensive experience helping students to navigate alternate schooling models (ie, not the standard brick and mortar school) won us over completely. Maggie provided us with a seamless integration between our school in Illinois and Score. Facilitating stellar communication between the teachers at Score and our daughter’s home teachers, Maggie enabled our daughter to complete her Illinois course work while living in Florida, and even to matriculate from her home middle school. Even more important to our daughter, Maggie structured her schedule to accommodate a grueling riding program and top-notch academic experience.
We were so happy with our experience working with Maggie, we decided to continue with her as our daughter entered high school. Maggie always kept an eye toward the future, ensuring not only that our daughter took courses that challenged her and teed her up for success in both high school and college, but also that our daughter was meeting all the requirements to become an NCAA athlete, should she have the opportunity. Moreover, Maggie remained attentive to our daughter as a whole person; Maggie organized the complex schedules of multiple students to provide them with opportunities to take classes together, thereby nurturing social bonds between very busy students. As well, Maggie helped the students to organize philanthropic clubs and to execute service activities.
We could not speak more highly of Maggie, and very much hope to work with her as our daughter begins to explore the college application process and potentially the path toward high-level collegiate athletics.
